I've been attracted to the new look of google.com and all the web apps in their arsenal. So I figured it should make a pretty good looking gnome-shell theme. Hope you like it!
I included the switches from 0rAX0's Nord theme because they're just so easy on the eyes and I couldn't find any "switches" on google's apps.
Installation:
Put the 'Google-Shell' folder inside ~/.themes and use a theme-selector extension to select it. OR, backup your /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme folder and replace everything inside it with this theme, press ALT+F2 and type 'rt' or 'r'
In case some of you don't like the orange in the message tray, here's a fix:
I used this theme on a netbook; worked for me! I use a hybrid of faience. I install the faience icon set but delete the apps folder inside the theme. Then I just use the generic gnome theme.
Hi. I'm new to Gnome Shell, and I was wondering how you got "Power Off..." to show in your username menu. Mine only has options to Log Out.

It's no problem. It shows up when you hold the "Alt" key. You can also have it show all the time by installing the alternate menu extension along with the extension-common and gnome-tweak-tool. You can google more about it or look it up on webupd8.org.

I love this shell theme, I think it's genius. But every time I insert an external hard drive, I can't read the writing in the dialogue that shows up. Is there a way to make that darker?

"Summer here is also known as winter." ....."What about winter? Is it known as summer?" "No, it's just winter."

"No, it's just winter."
I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 if that helps.
